Ford Fiesta Mild Hybrid
Enjoy the performance & efficiency of a hybrid car
Available as mild hybrid car, the Fiesta is now more efficient than ever. Its advanced EcoBoost Hybrid system is designed to minimise emissions and support the petrol engine with extra power when needed. And self-charging technology means the hybrid battery recharges as you drive.
Use less fuel with Auto Start-Stop
When you stop at traffic lights or your Fiesta is idling in a queue, this technology can automatically switch off the engine while still supplying power to essentials like the headlights, air-conditioning and the Ford SYNC 3 system. When you're ready to move just depress the clutch, or press the accelerator on an automatic, and the system restarts. Auto Start-Stop is particularly effective in towns and cities, where it can cut fuel consumption by up to 10% (urban cycle).
Efficiency at the press of a button
An ingenious feature of the new Ford Fiesta is its Eco Button. Press to turn it on and a series of systems and settings adjust to help you save fuel. For example, the rate of acceleration can be reduced, the idle speed can be lowered and the fan speed of the climate control can be lowered. Combined, all these little things can make a big difference.
Tyres that can improve efficiency
The Fiesta’s low rolling resistance tyres are designed to reduce the energy required to make the tyres roll. This means less power is required to move, and fuel consumption is reduced over the life of the vehicle.
Ford Fiesta Reviews
The Ford Fiesta is a genuine icon in the UK. When the previous-generation model arrived in 2008 it shot to the top of the sales charts and stayed there for its entire life cycle. Now there’s a new model and it’s better than ever. Auto Express
Ford shifted a million of the previous-generation Fiestas in the UK alone. This one doesn’t drop the ball. Top Gear
